Playing Trains

miranda+snow 026

I don't think this was what Miranda wanted when she wanted someone to play trains with her.

Last week Aaron's parents and brother came to visit and have an early Christmas with us. Miranda loved it. She played with every one and said they were her best friends. She was sad when everyone left and so were Aaron and I. It was so nice having company. The only down side was that Aaron's mom ended up getting a nasty cold. I hope she feels better soon. For her Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa Miranda got a Thomas train track, a few new engines, and engine wash, they fit with her old train track from her birthday and Miranda loved it. From uncle she got some cool aquarium cars and a covered bridge for the track. The boys spent 2 hours putting together the two tracks. Their goal was to use every piece of track. They did it too. Miranda loved these gifts and wants to play trains every day.

We also actually have snow on the ground and its been here since Saturday, first time in 2 years that the snow has stayed more than a few days. Its also in the 20's which is very cold for out here. Miranda played out in it Sunday and we may go out in it again today.

Happy Holidays every one and I hope you all get you holiday to do lists done. I know I won't.

I see nothing wrong with that! Then again, each of my cats would be up there too... the only difference would be that at least one of them would be trying to catch the train!
