Updates

It's been awhile since I've made a lengthy post. So here is whats been happening.

Miranda is cutting around four teeth right now so has not been sleeping well and can get really crabby. She seems to continue to put on weight so that is great. We try to keep her busy and around other children a few times during the week. We signed Miranda up for gymnastics and are in our second six week session. She even started to really enjoy it and try to do everything last week. She likes to do somersaults, walk on the balance beam, and roll on the mats. It is so fun to watch her run around with the other kids laughing. We go again tomorrow and I'm going to bring the camera to take pictures. She still goes to preschool once a week and is enjoying that to. We have also noticed a big increase in her vocabulary she now says: eye, dadda ome (home),dadda wiking (working),off, on, no, up, stuck, Dora, Igger (Tigger), choco (chocolate), choo choo, cheese, and a few more. She is also able to point when asked to many body parts.

I'm still knitting. I'm working on my second sock and it should be done this weekend. I plan on starting either a sweater for Miranda or a shawl for my sister's wedding. I also have been enjoying the weather and sun shine. I started to work on the yard yesterday and again today. I raked and weeded and hopefully will be able to start working on a garden this weekend. Miranda has also loved the lack of rain since we go on walks around the neighborhood and she was able to play on her slide the past two days.
