Here are some pictures of Miranda in action. She can be a ham for the camera. The picture with the two of us was after I got my hair cut. I hate it. I asked for a style that would be easy to take care off. Well if I don't straighten my hair every day it looks horrible so back to wearing ponytails again.

For the record, I think you look pretty.

That said, as someone who cuts her own hair (& isn't particularly great at it) I recommend rediscovering headbands & barrettes & all of those other little hair gadgets. You might be surprised by how parting your hair in a different place, and adding some cheap $3 piece of plastic can help you to avoid the ever annoying flat iron. There are other things too, but those are generally the easiest for me that still wind up looking decent.

I "ditto" what amanda said...Also, if you blow dry it out with a big round brush that helps with the smoothness (when you have 5 minutes to spare). Looks good, girl!

And as for Miss Miranda, don't stress too much over the food thing. Spencer ate tons but gained weight VERY slowly (complete opposite of G) and didn't hit the 20 pound mark at 1 year. (I have a friend whose baby is over 1 and still not 20 yet.) Babies eat when they are hungry; fortunate for them they actually listen to their bodies more than adults. Just keep trying, one day it will click!

Thanks for the advice on the hair. Just wish when I would say easy to do or low maintenance the stylist would not do something that requires a blow drier. Also thanks for the baby cookbook. Just wish she would eat something.

You're most welcome lady (on both counts).

Yeah, the time I went to a salon, the girl did just about the polar opposite of what I'd told her to (it was really quite remarkable). And I don't know much about the eating habits of babies, but I know I was a very finicky child. But I turned out okay, and I grew out of it eventually.
