Hello everyone.

It has been a long time since my last post. One reason is that we were in Michigan for two weeks visiting family and friends. It was also Miranda's first time in an airplane. It did not go to bad, she cried but it was not to bad. She did not like having to sit still for so long. She did not like nursing too much on the plane, we also had to drive another few hours to get to Michigan from Chicago. It was so nice seeing Aaron's family and our friends. Miranda even did really well at a family get together her first day in Michigan.

Our second part of the trip included a ten hour car ride split up over two days to Upper Michigan. On the way up north we even got Miranda's pictures taken at a great place called Sadie's. The best part on getting photos done there is that you can buy rights to the photos by buying a CD. We then spent a week with my family. It was great seeing people that I have not seen in over a year. Then we also had to get in the car again and drive to Minnesota for my cousins wedding.

The flight back was not a direct flight and that is something I will never book again. She screamed the whole decent into Seattle. It was great getting back home in our own beds.

Miranda also had her four month check up last Friday. She had to get some shots but she bounced back pretty quickly. She was also weighted and measured. She weighs 14 lbs 11.5 oz and measures 25.5 inches. She is almost in the 90th percentile for length and the 25th percentile for weight to length. She is slightly above the 50th percentile for weight to age. So she is growing at a great rate.

And now for bragging Miranda now can sit up a bit on her own. She is getting better each day on balancing. She can't sit up on her own but if you put her in the sitting position she can stay there for awhile. She also loves to stand up and seems very strong and tries to stand with out to much help.
