Now that I vented about labor I can talk about my little princess.

Miranda Lynn was born on April 12th at 3:52pm. She weighted 7lbs 1.5oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. She is a healthy and adorable little girl. In the past week or so since she has been born I have learned a few things. How to fall in love looking at my little girl, how to change a diaper on a screaming and kicking little girl, and how to function on two hours of sleep at a time. She is so interesting to watch and I can't wait until she is able to fully focus on what is going on around her. She has also decided that along with diaper changes she does not like sponge baths and fusses through those too.

Since Miranda has been born we have already gone to the doctors twice for follow up appointments. The first one was to check for jaundice which she was in the normal ranges and the latest one was for a blood draw. She was upset but did better than I expected. She also has gained weight and is up to 7lbs 4 oz and grew almost and inch.

I am glad that I did finally decide to have a child but I have no desire to ever go through pregnacy or labor again. I want to spoil Miranda rotten and always be there for her.
